<p>As Canadian businesses pivot in response to U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, we have compiled a list of resources to help businesses navigate this change. InBC is committed to supporting B.C. businesses in this transition in whatever capacity we can, including working directly with the B.C. companies in our portfolio.</p>

<p>This list will be updated as additional tools and resources become available.&nbsp;</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Tools &amp; Resources:</h4>

<ul class="wp-block-list">

The Government has also published a <a href="https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/news/2025/03/list-of-products-from-the-united-states-subject-to-25-per-cent-tariffs-effective-march-13-2025.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">list of products from the United States that may be subject to 25 per cent tariffs</a>. There is a <a href="https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/programs/international-trade-finance-policy/process-requesting-remission-tariffs-that-apply-on-certain-goods-us.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">process for requesting remission on tariffs</a> under specific circumstances, such as for goods used as inputs that cannot be sourced domestically.</li>

<li>The Trade Commissioner Service&#8217;s <a href="https://www.tradecommissioner.gc.ca/funding-financement/canexport/sme-pme/index.aspx?lang=eng" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CanExport SMEs</a> is providing funding for key export activities helping Canadian businesses to enter new markets. It has updated its <a href="https://www.tradecommissioner.gc.ca/united-states-of-america-etats-unis-amerique/cusma-compliance-conformite-aceum.aspx?lang=eng">guide on the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA)</a> under which Canadian goods may qualify for duty-free preferential treatment. The commissioner is also here to <a href="https://www.tradecommissioner.gc.ca/index.aspx?lang=eng" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">connect businesses</a> with other funding and support programs, international opportunities and its network of trade commissioners in over 160 cities worldwide.</li>

<li>The Government of British Columbia&#8217;s response to tariffs includes a <a href="https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/employment-business/tariffs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">list of supports for workers, businesses and industries</a>.</li>
