Photonic is one of 13 global companies that have advanced to Stage B of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s (DARPA) Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI), a rigorous and highly selective U.S. Department of Defence program validating a quantum computing approach’s feasibility towards utility-scale performance.

The company was also selected for Phase 1 of the Canadian Quantum Champions Program (CQCP), which recognizes the strategic importance of quantum technologies to Canada’s economic competitiveness and national security.
